We recently conducted some research* into people in the UK’s attitudes to money. We asked them about their spending habits, how they liked to shop, how much money they needed to survive, how much they valued money over things like friendship and what they felt about mobile payments. We also asked how they expected the way they spend money to change, in order to give us an idea about The Future of Money.
You can read more about some of the research on the following websites:
- FS Tech – Mobile payments
- Dailymail – Cost of survival
- Bizreport – One in three Brits carry less than a fiver in cash
You can watch a video of a student attempting to live for a week on the minimum ‘cost of survival’ here, and use our Facebook app to tell your friends how much you value them.
We’ve pulled together some of the most interesting stats from our Future of Money research and presented them in the below infographic.
*The Skrill research data was supplied by OnePoll from an online survey of 2,000 UK adults weighted by gender, age and region.
