President & Chief Executive Officer

Siegfried Heimgaertner joined the Skrill Group as Chief Executive Officer in June 2012, having spent the previous decade in senior roles at European payment companies. In his previous role Siegfried was Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff at Ingenico, responsible for business coordination, strategic alliances and partnerships globally and a member of the Management Board. Prior to their acquisition by Ingenico, he was MD, then CEO at easycash Group, the market leading payment service provider in Germany.

Siegfried gained his strong international sales, marketing and operational understanding in earlier roles at leading technology companies, including Epson, and his intercultural experiences while serving as a military officer in the United States and Belgium.

A graduate of the International Management Programme at Ecole Européenne des Affaires, Paris, Siegfried also holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
