Marketing Executive – Gaming Division

An opening has arisen for a talented and commercially minded marketing individual to join the Gaming Account Management Team. The post holder will be expected to work well with both internal and external stakeholders in order to grow revenue. It is a challenging role in a fast paced team and a great opportunity for the post holder to both hone and develop their skill set.

Core responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for the management of our  Promotions Page
  • Running and organising the ‘My Account’ promotional banners
  • Liaising with the Account Management team with daily/ad hoc requests for Merchant presentations and manuals
  • Organising, creating, printing, and binding of merchant presentations for Annual ICE & EIG conferences
  • Liaising with the Account Management team to organise and set up joint promotions with merchant
  • Assisting with Marketing on seasonal company promotions and liaising with the Account Management team to push these promotions via the merchant channel
  • Working with the Account Management and CRM team in the running of Monthly Newsletters – Gaming, Reactivation, and VIP Newsletters
  • Collating and sending of the Friday Report from the Account Managers
  • Tallying the Monthly Team Targets for all Account Managers with use of the Merchant Tool
  • Ad hoc reporting into merchant statistics for all LET Account Manager requests
  • Working with  additional Skrill business sections such as Marketing and VIP on ad-hoc projects and promotions
  • Reporting and analysing the Monthly Rebates
  • Involvement in the bi-weekly CHURN meetings
  • Assisting with the Skrill VIP Twitter page – uploading of tweets and re-tweets to followers

Essential and desired skills and experience:

  • Experience and knowledge of the online Gaming industry
  • Understanding of affiliate marketing is a bonus
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills and stakeholder management

Technical Writer

We are looking for a creative and experienced Technical Writer to join our product team in London. You will be working closely with our developers to craft beautifully written documentations for our hundreds of thousands of merchants.

This Role requires someone who understands how difficult it is to make things simple – and loves the challenge of trying to simplify seemingly complex concepts. Given the fairly technical nature of online payments, programming experience is a requirement.

You will be given ownership over our existing product documentations and will have full autonomy over rewriting them. With our new product launches, you will be responsible for producing great documentations which will help make developers love accepting payments with Skrill!

We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual, who enjoys creative freedom, technology and a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain developer-facing documentations
  • Create integration manuals, developer guides, online help & product release notes
  • Plan, write & publish updated documentations with incremental product releases
  • Re-organise & rewrite existing manuals to improve readability & ease-of-use

Requirements:

  • Ability to work well in a deadline driven environment
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following: Java, Perl, PHP, Python or Ruby.” (deliberately dropped ASP)
  • Excellent verbal  and written communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and varying levels of management
  • Experience within the online payments industry would be an advantage but not essential

• Ideally proven background and extensive knowledge of online payments, prepaid cards, mobile or consumer banking, financial services

• Strong influencing, negotiating skills and contracting skills

• Detailed forecasting ability

• Advanced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong analytical capabilities with finance, data and statistics, great attention to detail and precise manner of working

• Highly motivated and flexible: can quickly adapt to and grasp new tasks while developing a sense of process/task ownership

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

• Exceptional communication skills – both oral and written. English is essential plus another European language would be an advantage

Desktop Administration Engineer

For our IT Infrastructure department in Berlin, we are looking to hire a Desktop Administration Engineer.

 

Responsibilities:

• Office infrastructure maintenance (cabling, LAN, telephone lines)

• Internal IT support for workstations, laptops, phones, Blackberry devices, etc

• Participation in IT infrastructure-related operations (initial installation and configuration of IT equipment and networks) together with Sofia and London IT Infrastructure teams

 

Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS XP/Vista/7 and Apple/MacOS.

• Experience with support and troubleshootingof LAN networks.

• Strong knowledge of PC and peripheral devices hardware and technical parameters.

• Excellent knowledge in all MS Office Products.

• Knowledge of MS Windows domain structure.

• Understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP, DNS.

• Excellent organization, communication and time-management skills.

• Ability to deal with confidential issues and work under pressure.
